Solved Windows 8 errors and issues I'm having

Hi, I've been having problems today with my Windows 8 pc. When I first ran my computer today it took a longer time than usual to log onto the accounts. Once I got logged in, the desktop background and programs were all changed to a different user when I searched for the folder. I would've tried system restoring, however the restore point was deleted. I'm currently running AVG and Malware Bytes a secound time, but it doesn't seem to be working too well in solving this. The computer was working perfectly fine yesterday, but is running into issues today. Any advice will be appreciated, thanks.

Also, when I tried to launch Windows Defender, it gave me an windows defender error code 0x8007139f. After I installed Malware Bytes and AVG, it says "This app has been turned off and isn't monitoring your computer. If you're using another app to check for malicious or unwanted software, use Action Center to check that app's status."

I restarted my computer after an Malware Bytes scan, and everything automatically "resetted." The applications I unpinned were pinned on the taskbar and my history on my browser was cleared after I restarted my computer. I don't have the Windows 8 CD or anything due to the computer being prebuilt from Dell, but I feel like my only option would be to kind of delete everything and reinstall the OS,. Any help would be appreciated.

Alright, I tried resetting the computer to factory setting, how long would it take? Right now it's been about 13-16~ hours, and my monitor automatically goes to sleep mode even though the computer is on.

The complete Reset process will take about an hour. It depends on the speed of your computer though. If you move the mouse or press the spacebar does it wake up?

Nope, the monitor enters power-save mode and stays black. The computer is still running though although quieter than usual.

And my computer isn't too slow, id say it's a bit above average so shouldn't be that. Is there anything I can do, or do I just wait til it starts working again. I've read that it took some people 24+ hours to reset to factory setting too.

It's still doing the whole factory reset thing, the power went out for a few seconds so had to restart the computer. Not sure if anything is damaged or not as nothing is still displaying on the screen.
