Babylon search hijacks my laptopyesterday. Now I can't get rid of babylon toolbar and the disgusting babylon search from my chrome. I aleady removed it form the "Add/Remove program" option, but it's still there when i restart my pc. It must have something to do with the registry, but I can not able to clean that. The other day someone in yahoo answers suggest a uninstall babylon toolbar guide. It requires to download an antivirus not heard before,I just want to make sure everything won't go wrong again. so does anybody knows a simpler way to remove this everyone hated toolbar?

The black friday deals is near coming, just don't want my card info get stolen:huh:

I'm sure one of the malware removal folks will be along shortly but this is worth a try while you wait....

I had something similar in my dads PC last week that still kept coming back in chrome even after removing in add/remove programs, I finally cleared it with a "Reset Browser settings" in chrome -> Settings -> advanced settings -> scroll to the bottom of the page "Reset Browser settings".

Open (run) Services.msc and disable it

It might also be in the Control panel - Programs and features, if so, of course, uninstall it.

Have a look at this article. It will guide you through the steps to remove it completely using Adwcleaner, Malwarebytes & HitmanPro.

Remove Babylon Toolbar (Removal Instructions)

If you've never heard of the AV before, best to stay away from it. There are a slew of fake AV's out there that will do considerable damage to your PC.

The first warning sign for these rouges - it finds a bunch of viruses, but will only remove them for a price.
