Is Private Firewall a good choice?

After trying Comodo Firewall again (and still hating it) I decided to look up Private Firewall. How good is it in terms of:
-Resource usage
-Security
-Not blocking random safe programs
-Easy to unblock programs

and does it have a sandbox?

Sincee I appear to be the first to respond, I can tell you to expect a multitude of varying opinions on this subject. So, instead of advising you, I will just tell you what I use with comments:

I use the built-in Windows Firewall because you can just set it and forget it and it will do its intended job which is to prevent uninvited/unsolicited inbound access requests. However, this does nothing to protect you against malware that is invited (by you) into your computer by unsuspectingly clicking on a link and downloading malware onto your PC. Now, to prevent this from happening, one would need a good 3rd-party anti-viurs program that essentially notifies you that you are about to download malware and gives you a chance to abort the connection without getting infected. So, that is my configuration and it works for me. Good luck with your choices in this area.

As I have never used this firewall I cannot answer your specific questions. I would suggest reading the reviews at the bottom of the web page:
</title> <meta name="description" content="Privacyware - Advanced Threat Prevention and Security Intelligence Solutions"> <meta name="keywords" content="Personal Firewall, Personal firewall, personal firewall, firewall, Firewall, Privacyware, Private

I expect that most members of this forum are using Windows built in firewall. Unless you have some special requirements I would suggest you do the same.

I'm just trying to find a something with good sandbox and auto sandbox. After me uninstalling COMODO, I was trying to find a good firewall with sandbox for a long time.

Comodo's new interface is a mess. I use it, but I liked the old interface, better. Have you considered a third party sandbox program? Sandboxie may be the best.

What is the difference between free and premium sandboxie?

Doesn't quite answer your question as I'm using the default Windows 8 firewall in Win 8 but I do have Privatefirewall installed on my Win XP hard-drive. I'm no expert but the reviews looked good and I was bored with Zonealarm at the time. The first time I downloaded it, it worked a charm. When I re-formatted my drive as a general cleanup prior to installing Win 8 on my bigger drive, I ended up with unwanted search engines, home page and general bloat ware which took ages to get rid of. It was downloaded from the official site and was the first bit of software I downloaded onto the clean drive. Just something to consider.

Zone alarm firewall (disable the anti-virus) and Avast Firewall (that has Sandbox) sees to work well with Win 8. As I'm a good boy, I'll just stick with what Microsoft supplie by default.
