    Question about Adobe Flash Player

It seems constantly I'm being asked to install this player and if someone would please tell me where I can go to download this program for good ? Plus, can you tell me how to install a program that I need without it asking/forcing me to install what seems like 6 or 7 other programs and a toolbar with it ?

    Its so frustrating.

This is not really Adobe Flash, it is a VIRUS. Let me see, you got this popup rom Sendspace.com or Billionuploads.com? And it said "You didn't have Flash installed"? - Sorry, you just got infected, if you in fact clicked on the installer.

Please, remove everything that link installed, I guarantee you NONE of it was Flash, and all of them were Toolbars and Viruses to boot.

Download Malwarebytes and run a full system scan, also download TDSSKILLER and Malwarebytes Anti Rootkit. Also do a full system scan with your main AV program even if it's Defender.

Flash Player comes from one, and only one place: ALL other links to it are scams, viruses, rootkits and other dren.

Actually, Flash for Windows 8 is updated from Windows Update as well.

Flash also works a little differently in Windows 8 Metro vs Desktop. See the Windows 8 notes here:

Yes, I know - I never use the IE "Tile" - It only allows "MS Approved" sites, so to blazes with them.

Thank You Guy's, I had 23 infections after Malwarebytes Full Scan and it said restart computer to finish the job. I few things were not checked : PUP.FakeFlashDomaiq and PUP.InstallBrain. Now I'm going to download TDSSKILLER and Malwarebytes Anti Rootkit.
Should I scan with both of these downloads and then with my Avast - Antivirus.
Will that be all and should I go to the main websites to download programs.

There ya go, always check the Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUP) - ANd UNcheck the Potentially Unwanted Modifications (PUMs). You can set it in Malwarebytes. If you did not get rid of those, run Malwarebytes again and then CHECK those if they are not checked. There is a good chance TDSSkiller will find those as well, and I know Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit will get them for sure. But you always have to check what items will be marked for removal in Malwarebytes, they have it set backward by default, Programs are unchecked, Modifications are checked. Reverse those two settings.

Adobe - Install Adobe Flash Player
I went to the link above and installed Adobe Flash Player. I did every step and it told me that it was install. Does it not show up in the ADD/Remove Programs ? There is a Adobe Flash Player plugin there, does that mean the entire program is installed ?
