Hi guys.

When I want to turn on BitLocker on C drive (for some reason I can't do it on other drives) I get this message:

SHLO9Yh.png

What should I do in order to enable BitLocker for not only C drive, but all of my partitions?
And can someone also tell me which encryption is BitLocker using?

That would be an issue. You have converted your OS drive to a dynamic disk instead. BitLocker will only work on basic disks.

Please post a screenshot showing the full layout of your Disk Management (diskmgmt.msc) window, and pointing out which disk is the Windows hard drive that you are wanting to encrypt with BitLocker. I'll be happy to take a look at it, and help you get it converted back to being a basic disk.
In the mean time, DO NOT restart or shutdown your PC. If you do, you may not be able to startup into Windows 8 again since it is a dynamic disk instead of basic.

Before I do any of these, can you tell me one thing. Would my computer be safer from malicious softwares if I made encryption of main partition? I mean if some malicious software wants to install in system files (which are on main partition) would it need access to that partition and if it lacks of access would main partition be safer from those softwares?

Using BitLocker on your OS drive is not going to prevent malicious software from being installed in Windows while you are in Windows.

BitLocker can help prevent access to drive if the password is not given or USB not connected at boot instead.

Either way, you'll need to convert your disk back to Basic instead of Dynamic since Windows does not support booting from a dynamic disk.
