can i install two anti virus in one pc for testing av ?

hi i have already installed kaspersky internet security latest version but my Friend gave me eset smart security so i want to check it in my pc without removing kaspersky. because i may not have internet connection all the time and i have updated kaspersky today after the long time waiting. now please read me what i want to do

#i will install eset and disable the kaspesky or i will not run kaspersky
#will resister eset and chek its feature without opening or making active the kis
    # after comparing the features and performance i will unistall one of the antivirus and keep another one there...

now my question is ...does it harm pc or effects the performance of kaspesky even after eset is uninstalled?
note that i will not run any scan of both antivirus at the same time.....more over i will not perform from....

i googled but every one say about conflicting of antivirus but i repeat i will not run both scan at one,,,
finally after the removal of one anti virus ..remaining one will be perfect as earlier?
    help me

You can install 2 AV's but running both at the same time tends to create havoc on a system. I would try disabling or turning off kaspesky, then install 2nd AV and activate.

Alternatively, you could set up a virtual PC and run/test any software OS you want. Which is a much safer way IMO.

Even when disabled one AV application may have unpredictable effects on another. Even uninstalling the product may not avoid this. It is sometimes necessary to follow the suppliers instructions to fully remove the product. Different AV products were not designed to coexist and the results can be unpredictable.

you really should not run 2 antivirus programs at once and disabling it still is not a good thing because part of it is still running in the backround. This is a feelsafe for antivirus programs so that if you get a certain type of virus and it tries to disable the program, the program still can recover a bit and try to stop that particular virus.
You should run one only. If you want to try another one then uninstall the first one then run the second one
