I looked at my folder properties, the security tab on win8 "C:\Users\mike"
I see securities permissions for "Account Unknown S-1-15-21-etc..-1002" (i'm 1001)
Searched the registry, nothing found. Anyone have Idea what this might be ? Thanks !!!
I'm not overly concerned, slightly maybe,,, mostly curious.. might delete it and see what happens after next system image.

FYI. Internally Windows tracks the security with an internal "GUID" (Globally Unique IDentifier). When you install Windows and create an account, Windows will assign a new GUID even if you use the same account name as your previous Windows. When you copy a file created from another system which has its own GUID and does not exist in your new Windows then you'll get the "unknown account". You'll see this happens more in the case people have dual boot Win 7 & Win 8. It is safe to ignore it or you can delete it if you want.
