Solved virus attack problem

while browsing,i opened the site http://youtube-romania.com/ by mistakely.when i clicked on any video on this site to play it says to download adobe flash player.when i click on this,a small .exe file downloaded.next i install it.but this was a virus.so my lapi gets affected by this virus even kaspersky 2013 couldnot stop it from accessing windows files.as a result of which somany services gets infected.internet download manager didn't work properly.logon screen is also taking time to be unlocked after entering password.i even don't know there may be many other services which would have been affected.so what to do now.how to make my pc work like before.before few seconds ago i turn off my antivirus protection.now it is not being turned on.please help...........

You might enable Windows Defender and let it have ago at your virus. It is pretty solid when it comes to removing infections. I am not sure if it would do a better job than Kas though.

By the way, stick with the version of Flash that comes with Win8--at least for now. My understanding is that this version is the one that currently works best on Win8.

Also, it may not work, but you could try doing a system restore--assuming that you have created at least one restore point dated prior to your problem. Note that system restore is not highly regarded when it comes to removing viri.
