I search Anti-virus and Anti-spyware to install on Win8, but i want the softwares is light and effective.
Think about AVAST anti-virus free and SPYBOT for spyware, Whats do you think about this?

And about MSE, i understood the operation system Win8 include the MSE in Windows Defender, but i dont see
the icon of MSE in my bar, So what need i to do to active MSE?

Thanks...

It is no longer called MSE it is now called Windows Defender. Go to Control Panel and click on Windows Defender to see its status.

Techo, I'll give my own humble opinion. ANY good free AV will protect you against online idiots. Organized criminals, however, make it difficult, so do this: don't have ANY credit card, bank account, Social Security, etc., numbers on your computer. Then use whatever AV you want.
