Greetings all, I installed the Win8 Enterprise Eval 64-bit, but quickly went back to Win7 because of sound drivers.

I turned on Test Mode and disabled Driver Enforcement and tried both the Asus drivers and Brainbit drivers but couldn't get a working control panel but did get several blue screens.

My question is should I wait for Asus to get a real Win8 driver or should I look to another sound card. I really don't want to use my onboard...it sounds like crap.

Thanks in advance.....

I had the same problem with my Xonar D2 drivers, using Windows 7 compatibility mode when installing the drivers seems to work for me.
Windows 8 Compatibility Mode « The Digital Dilemma

If you have problems with the sound in Silver Light just go to the Asus control panel and mess with the DSP mode settings, that will fix the messed up sound problem in Silver Light.
