Volume fluctuations on Windows 8.1 HP Pavilion laptop

I just recently purchased this laptop on Amazon, and when received, I noticed that the volume tends to fluctuate on it's own without me doing anything. It is most noticeable when playing music on Spotify and on some games. I have looked everywhere to an answer for this problem and have not found one that works yet. This computer is equipped with beatsaudio, but it is through Realtek.

Things I've tried that have not worked:

Updating sound card drivers to latest versions

    Disabling beatsaudio

Going to Enhancements tab in the Playback devices Properties settings. (There is no Enhancements tab)

Setting the Communications tab under Sound to "do nothing"

As this is apparently a new PC, its under warranty and best to contact HP. Only HP can repair it (if needed) free under warranty.

Be prepared to do a factory reset as that's the first thing Tech Supports tend to want to do. In fact, as this is a "recent" purchase you may want to do this yourself to start with. If the sound is all OK after the reinstall, and before you install any of your applications, then the problem is not the PC audio but an application(s) that is causing it. If you opt for the reinstall, back up any user data to some external media first as all will be lost on the factory reinstall.

Hi guys, I'm currently in search for a laptop cooler. I prefer something wide enough to accommodate the base of my laptop. I've noticed that most of the cooler models tend to cover the laptop's built-in fan located at its left side. I would like to ask suggestions from the community for laptop...

A couple months ago, my laptop stopped giving me a low battery warning. It would just die when the battery was too low.
