    Echo/UFO Sound

I get a echo and UFO sound from my laptop. I re activated the mic. I cannot use an external microphone. But now as I record I get an echo chamber effect. How do I turn that off?

No PC Spec's or at least the make and model number of the laptop, so we can't specifically address your system.

However, some audio systems, such as Realtek have a separate management panel (Realtek has the HD Audio Manager) with Sound Enhancement options including Echo, reverb, chorus, etc. Check yours and turn off any enhancement.

As a court reporter, I use a software (from Stenograph) which records to a .wav file as I write. I have such a severe echo during playback, which makes it impossible to even use this audiosync feature within my software. I am not very computer savvy, so I may need "dummy" type step-by-step...
