Echo/UFO Sound

I get a echo and UFO sound from my laptop. I re activated the mic. I cannot use an external microphone. But now as I record I get an echo chamber effect. How do I turn that off? :eek:

No PC Spec's or at least the make and model number of the laptop, so we can't specifically address your system.

However, some audio systems, such as Realtek have a separate management panel (Realtek has the HD Audio Manager) with Sound Enhancement options including Echo, reverb, chorus, etc. Check yours and turn off any enhancement.
