Solved No sound in video players

Hey guys! I asked the same question on another forum but nothing so far :cry: Anyways, like the title says, for whatever reason there's no sound in my PotPlayer. I've tried different players, reinstalling Realtek and everything in between but nothing seems to fix it. I have a sound on everything else though, i'm able to game and watch videos online just fine. So i'm not really sure what's causing the problem. That's pretty much all i got, hopefully you guys can help me with this. Thanks in advance.

Since everything apparently works except the added media player, that would be the suspect problem. You may want to contact the potplayer support.

Have you reinstalled the Potplayer? Uninstall, reboot, install?

Yep, I did all of that. It's not just PotPlayer though, i don't have sound in other players either.

Sounds like something is installed that is causing the glitch. How many media players do you have installed, and could even be some other application. Hard to tell trying to troubleshoot on a forum.

Have you tried windows troubleshooter "playing audio"?

I have only PotPlayer at the moment, so it's probably not that

Oh excuse me I just reread your first post. You have sound for everything except your media player(PotPlayer) right? Can you get sound from Windows Media Player? If yes maybe there's a setting in PotPlayer that you're overseeing or a codec problem. For videos I use KODI formally XBMC.

I've tried bunch of different players and they all have the same problem, same thing with WMP.

I have 6 of those AMD ones but none of them are plugged in, so i use the other one.
