Audio coming from both Headphones and Speakers from my dell 15R.

I have installed Windows 8 Customers Preview and found that whenever I connect my Sony Headphones to my Dell Inspiron 15R laptop sound is coming from both the headphones and the Internal Speakers. I reinstalled the IDT audio driver then also the problem remains the same. Could any one give me the solution of the problem.
    Thanks in advance.

Install the latest driver for your model from Dell's site. Install latest bios too.

Nothing you can do then, besides try to find an alternate version of the driver from someplace else OR check on the driver's settings in the audio control panel or proprietary software included with the driver, if any.

It is also possible that your headphone jack is broken, but unlikely.

Surely, the Sony headphones are stereo, correct?
