Broken headphone plug stuck, how do i disable it?

    Hello,

Yesterday my headphones broke and the jack is still stuck inside.. there is no way i'm able to get the money for a repair. So i wonder, is there any manual way to disable my sound from going trough the broken (headphone) jack and just let it go trough my built in speakers? (I have a laptop).

    Thanks in advance
    - Jason

Should be able to switch to speakers thru Control panel > Sound.

I tried that but it's set as one: "Speakers/headsets" so i'm not really sure how to seperate them :/.

If you are careful (and lucky) you can glue something on to the part of the plug that is stuck in the jack and then remove it.

I've heard of that being done before.
