Hello Eightforums.
Firstly, my problem is that my headset microphone is not working correctly. As my laptop (Lenovo g505s) only has 1 audio jack, but my headset has 2 cables (green and pink), i bought a 3.5mm headset splitter adapter that splits audio output to 3.5m headphone and 3.5 mic jack. Having plugged it in, I am getting both my internal microphone sounds along with my headset microphone sounds through my headset.
This is what my volume mixer looks like right now: http://i.gyazo.com/6adf9c6e8ddf0f894ce152afc1d7a9dc.png
My playback tab in sounds: http://i.gyazo.com/0af54f31a3290bc9acdfa1ea7fad50c6.png
My recording tab in sounds: http://i.gyazo.com/0af54f31a3290bc9acdfa1ea7fad50c6.png

I am unsure what how to proceed to fixing this issue.
Thanks,
