So about a month ago my sound crashed and stopped working on my Advent netbook laptop.
There is a red X and if I click on the sound icon then the trouble shooter automatically starts and gives me the message 'one or more audio service isn't running.'
On other forums I have read that if you go onto the device manager and disable and then enable the realtek sound manager then the sound should come back. This hasn't worked for me .
I'm not very computer savvy so if you have any suggestions for me could you please explain them in a way that I would understand because I'm trying to fix it on my own without having to pay.
Thanks.
