i cannot see my graphic equaliser for audio playback - not in the music player but in general.
example - i am watching something on youtube and want to adjust the audio but within my sound options i dont see graphic equaliser at all .

i done have a dedicated sound card yet but until i do i need to be able to sort out and adjust audio for things like youtube/twitch/and spotify

is there a really good free graphic equaliser available to download or even a paid one . i dont know why but i swear my audio was better on windows 7 .

i also have a xfi mb built into my motherboard i believe as it used to work on windows 7 but since i changed operating systems it has obviously gone .
where can i download the x-fi mb programme for windows 8.1 ? it is the basic version with just a control panel and built in equaliser

many thanks
dan

First, the Xfi MB is a PC vendor supplied product. You didn't list the PC specs, but if it is a Dell, go to the Dell, My Downloads, and you can get it. On another brand I can't say where or if it is available.

Without the sound enhancement to the PC's on board sound, SOME devices, such as RealTek have an HD Audio Manager that, depending on what the PC vendor has allowed, does offer different EQ's.

OK. ASUS needs to be contacted about getting the XF MB software.

I went to the ASUS link you provided and it shows ADI/Soundmax sound. However, when I went to support and downloads for this model, it has a RealTek driver listed. Different sound chips. ASUS will have to clarify what is actually there.

I don't know of any add on EQ but there may be one around, that you have to pay to get. Sorry I can't help you further.
