Solved Volume bar at top left corner

Hi,

So instead of explaining what I'm looking at right now I'll post a picture here:

volumebar.jpg

So as you can see that bar there is putting my volume automatically up to 100% every single time I touch it. Also, recently this has made the computer unable to drag the top or side or have any Windows 8 features available this includes both Windows buttons on my keyboard. I have tried cleaning my keyboard as that seemed to work last time on fixing this problem for maybe a month, however it worked for only an hour this time. It also seems note worthy that I cannot capitalize these letters at all: z x c v m , . \ and then I can't capitalize certain letters with certain shift bars so I can capitalize s with my left shift but not my right this happens with many other letters too but the ones I listed above cannot be capitalized at all.

If you need any more info I can give it to you. mainly (could not capitalize the m and any other letters that I put that are capitalized and said could not be I Google searched for the capital version of it) what I'm asking is how to disable this bar I've searched for answers and even reinstalled my audio as some websites said to do. Is this a problem with my keyboard I'm not too sure. It's a AzzA Gaming keyboard so yeah and it's mechanical keyboard. The computer that I'm using is a custom one I ordered online but if you need I could list the specs. I also run with Realtek and nvidia audio.

Thanks for any and all help. Hopefully we can fix this problem as it makes things nearly impossible to do on the computer.

This is obviously not a sound problem (this forum section). Whether its a keyboard hardware problem or something within the PC???
Post this on a hardware section of this forum, may be best to try and get help.

Definitely sounds like a 'sticky keys' issue.

To get you out of a 'sticky' situation, (pun intended!), you could try 'Alt Codes':

A - Z = Alt 65-90 (either alt key, numeric keypad)
a - z = Alt 97-122 (either alt key, numeric keypad)

(I'm not going to list them all individually!) ;)

(not all alt codes work the same in different environments)

I'm not to sure how to use these Alt codes? Is there a website you could guide me to that tells me how to use them properly in a situation such as mine? I tried click Alt + 65 on the keypad and that did nothing and than I click a + z and that did nothing so I'm not to sure what you mean to do here.

Thanks.

And could a moderator or someone with the power to move a thread move this thread to hardware as it seems that's where it should be.

To use 'Alt' Codes:
- make sure Numbers Lock (NumLock) is enabled on your keyboard,
- press and hold left Alt key (in most cases you can use either Alt key),
- enter the Alt code number on the numeric keypad,
- release Alt key and the character will appear.

Here is a PDF list of Alt Codes you can download:

How will this fix the problem I have though? If it only creates symbols then how could it possibly get rid of the volume bar or me unable to swipe the screen?

Try cleaning your keyboard volume keys again.
When I hold my volume key down I can't drag the screen either!

Hmm I didn't try that because it's a different kind of key but I'm sure it's worth a try! I'll update you with what happens.
