    voice dictation not accurate

I used to use voice dictation with word on my windows XP computer and loved it! No sure whatís going on with office 365 on 8.1 but only one word out of every ten is correct. I made a recording with the Sound Recorder program just to see if the computer could hear me and while itís low I can hear my voice. Anybody know what I can do to increase the volume in the microphone?

Just like many of you already said Iím having trouble with my sound in 8.1 sounding muffled and hollow, I played around with the levels itís a bit better now, but not how it should be.

Well I was about to tryout some of the tips in the link but now the mic can't hear anything like it's muted, although it's not! No idea what's going on.

Unplugged the headphones used the internal microphone for a little bit then re-plugged them working again. Moving the mic has made my results better still they're not stellar.

Wow, there sure is a lot of hate about the new Metro interface on the web. I might be the only person that likes it. I don't know what everyone is complaining about, except that people hate change.
