Solved Random Volume Fluctuations

So I've been having random volume fluctuations with things like youtube and iheart radio, as well as the occasional games. I've been searching the forums for a solution but the closest i can find is on the W7 forums, (Volume level continuously changes - Windows 7 Help Forums), which is the same problem I'm having with windows 8 pro. The last post on that thread is from September of 2012, so really I'm just curious if any new info or solutions have been made available. Like the op in that thread I as well disabled my communications and turned of the enhancements. I also uninstalled my audio drivers, restarted, and when it rebuilt the drivers they were newer than the ones i had. (Realtek 6.2.9200.16497, current driver) Yet still the problem persists. Team Speak 3 is the only web voice chat service i use, but that's only on when running a game. Any help is much appreciated.

Does this happen on both the Laptops internal speakers and headset? Or just one of the devices?

Also on ANY audio or just specific items?

The other user noted the problem was being caused by teamspeak.

So far i seem to only notice it when i hook it up to my flat screen with the hdmi. Ive disabled the mics in both TS and in the sound conrols, and while it seems to make the fluctuation less extreme its still noticeable. It happens most with anything that i watch online, fallout 3 and minecraft. after that watching a dvd seems to have no effect and plays audio as it should.

yah... im not an expert by any means but im at least more savvy than the average user. i just recently bought this laptop and switched the flat screen from W7 tower straight over and had no issues with it prior to this laptop. random guess is W8 integrates sound better with the FS better than W7 did, but again random guess....

side note: your avatar seems strangely appropriate for this post :)
