My speaker simply does not work!

As the title implies, my speaker is malfunctioning. I have no idea what to do with this problem but I have tried many things. The control panel says it is completely fine and trouble shooting says nothing. Please help me.

Try uninstalling the sound driver, reboot and see whether it works, provide more details about your system for members to help you. You could also try a system restore to a point it was working.

Desktop or laptop, internal or external , have you tried the above ?

okay umm this is a laptop im guessing internal (not quite sure what that means but it is my built in speakers I am talking about) and i do not know how to uninstall drivers I dont know where to find them and how do i do a system restore?

Move the cursor to bottom left of the screen, right click, click Device Manager, expand the Sound, right click the driver and Uninstall, reboot. The OS will find the driver for you.
