Solved Text to speech not working

Text to speech is not working at all. I use Mumble and it is very important because I run the server. I checked the text to speech settings in windows, and mumble. When I hit "Preview" In either one, it highlights the text, and I hear nothing. Sound is coming out, just not text to speech. If anyone can help, that would be great. Thank you! :)

Sorry, I having the same problem, just got the IVONA program and the sound, text-to-speech not working in my system also. Work will with Window 7.

That is exactly what happened to me. I think it has something to do with drivers. I wish I didn't update that driver, it worked fine before I did.

doglover129, I did a work around, I got myself an Asus USB-BT211 Bluetooth 2.1 Mini Dongle at the store today and using my Bluetooth speaker I can hear with it. My IVONA reader, speak in Microsoft Word and Excel is working now. Just something about Window 8 drivers, I have an IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, AMD A8-3820 APU with Radeon HD Graphics. This is my temporary fix for me.
