I am trying to record voice overs for videos I am making with a program called Pinnacle Studios 14. It's a little outdated but it gets the job done well. I am also running Windows 8 on a new computer. I am also using (or trying to use) a Logitech USB headset/microphone. The problem I am having is that when I try to select a microphone for the voice over it does not appear on the list of microphones I can use. I checked the Audio Settings under Control Panel and my computer recognizes that the headset is plugged in. I am not sure if it is the microphone that is not compatible with Windows 8 or its the Program that is not compatible with the microphone. Should I buy a new microphone? Should I get the upgraded version of Pinnacle? Help please.
