Hi all,

after so long I've been using Windows 8, I noticed this feature(?) in this OS. See attachment.

My question is: Why is every application's volume is half of the device volume? I tried moving the bars of the app's volume to match the device volume, but it will go back to the "half"-state again. Any idea?

Is there any way to solve this?

You can move the slider for System sounds, Friends and Chrome up to the level of Speakers.

will the settings be permanent? Like for example if I close and open the chrome, does it stick?

I ask this because I find it weird that the app's volume suddenly dropped half and I'm not so sure when will it happen again.
