Sound issue Windows 8

Hello,

I have sound issues on Windows 8 new desktop, in apps and in IE10 it dont play sound.
When i open the "old" desktop and open in there Internet, its working.

I have updated the Realtek sound card, but this not resolve the issue, does somebody know how to solve this issue?

Hi markspo, welcome to the forums, if you have any third party security/anti virus programs, uninstall them and see whether the sound works. if not create a DVD and try a refresh with this Tutorial (2nd Option).
