Searching Windows store gives weird results

I have 2 virtual instances of x64 W8 Enterprise.
Searching #1 with " " (one space) return around 510 apps today.
Same search on #2 returns only 30 apps (everytime I try).

Anyone knows why ?

Also the number of apps on #1 does not just steadily increase, it also fluctuates a little.

Of course you mut have a Microsoft account, if you have only logged into local machine or a Windows domain and then added Microsoft account, I think it will not see all apps.
If so, try to log out of machine or domain and directly into Microsoft account, search for apps (should be many), log out and back again to local/domain.
This has solved it for me (was first on Windows domain)

And I had to change Microsoft account for various reasons and got the problem back again.
Guess I cannot use prioritized forums (MSDN) to ask questions until Public release, anyway, Microsoft, please !!!

Searching for a space is a little weird to start, does it also do it when searching for something like "workout" or "music" or something where one person gets three apps and another gets 10? That would be more realistic (and more worrying I guess)

I have no idea, I just wanted so see all available apps and searching with empty string gives zero.
I just tested with a few other special characters: * / _ seems to return the same result as <space>.
I also tried with \, it results in the same as above, but the \ is translated to /
