I need to know how to share windows 8 apps from my admin account to a standard account.
For example I installed a game from windows store PUZZLETOUCH app. I used it on my account. I downloaded many more from the store but the problem is that I can only use them in my administrator account.
I cant use them in any other standard account.
I also tried windows + Q to search for the apps in my STANDARD account but i cant search any app that is installed by me from the store in my ADMINISTRATOR account.
Please help me???...
Thanks.
Downloaded and installed "Metro" apps are owned only by that specific standard or administrator Microsoft account, and can't be used by a different Microsoft account. You are able to reinstall apps owned by a Microsoft account using OPTION ONE in the tutorial below on any Windows 8 device/PC that is signed in with the same Microsoft account. If the Microsoft account is not the same one, then they must download and install their own apps instead.
thnx...
thnx for the reply...
but this is a drawback
I mean Microsoft must change it in their final product as it is very frustrating to install the same things again and again
also if the number of apps that we download is very high then this is the worst thing one can think...
anyways thnx for ur support...
Yeah, apps are more like they are on a smartphone now except it's per account instead. Luckily it's not so bad to share the same apps across any Windows 8 device using the same Microsoft account.
yeah...luckily ATLEAST there is this feature which can help the users a lot...anyways can u help me in my next problem???
i mean if u could plz help me i have posted it also...
i wud be very grateful to u...
Hi there
That's another 100% beef I have with this totally imbecellic concept of "a store".
Classical apps used to give you the option of Install this application for all users of this computer or just this account (i.e currently logged on user).
If the app is running from the Internet -- that might make sense but on a local PC -- it's a load of dog poo.
