Solved Entire folder gone

I was working in Adobe Premiere Pro on a video, and I imported my intro scene which I just spent the past 10 hours working on. All of the sudden, a window pops up saying "Please locate Final Intro.mp4". I try to locate it, but the entire folder is gone. The folder contained the intro video, my logo, the individual parts of my logo, and the audio for the video. Now it's gone. Out of nowhere.

Edit: I'm using the Release Preview.

I assume you performed a system query. Usually RP is pretty stable. No backup of it?

I didn't have time to. I'd just made the intro, and I was testing it out. I was going to save it to my external drive after I saw how the first video looked with it. My first thought was that I had accidentally moved it, but when I searched my entire hard drive for it, it wasn't there. Also, I wasn't even in Windows Explorer. Oddly enough, I had (earlier today) played an mp3 that I made back in the Consumer Preview, and it played fine in the music app, then I tried opening it in Media Player Classic, and it wouldn't open. I then tried the Music app again, and the file was indeed corrupted.

You must feel awful! I hope you're not a pro that just lost 10 hours. Everything in the lost folder is what you created? Could the name of the folder have been changed by any chance? Did you query for a particular file within the folder?

Yeah, I checked for the files in it. Luckily, I found out that about 9 and a half of those hours were me being in no rush, and learning the new programs (I upgraded from Photoshop CS6 from CS3, switched from Audacity to Adobe Audition CS6, switched from Sony Vegas to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, and learned Adobe After Effects CS6), So I was able to get it done again in just over half an hour. I can only imagine what would have happened if it had been the whole video I did afterwards instead of a 4 second intro. The artwork was easy to replicate, but the audio glitched so perfectly that I'll never be able to replicate it. I think I got a pretty good take, though. From this point forward, though, every little thing gets backed up in like 100 different places.

OK. Good. I'm old. I'm having a senior moment. I forget the name of the method where one can set a rig up to write to two disks simultaneously, therefore always having a backup. Would you know? Anyone?
