Well, one of my prayers has been answered. You can disable the animations and the smooth typing "feature" of the Office 2013 Preview. When you can type fast, that smooth animation appears like a delay and the cursor is unable to keep up with your typing. Very annoying.
It's a registry change though;
Navigate to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Graphics, create a a DWORD value named DisableAnimations. Set the data value to 1.
Note: You may have to create the KEY, Graphics in the above string
No longer do I feel seasick, like I need to vomit when using Excel and moving from field to field.
Now, if only I could replace the "outrageously" white theme with a darker theme so my eyes didn't hurt within 40 seconds of firing up an application.
