Need help with icons

I want to know where the office 2013 icon is on the desktop. I know Office 2010 automatically made an office 2010 app on the desktop that had all of the sub icons in them ( access, etc) Also how do i disable when i press the windows key it goes to metro and i have to search for apps there? I cant drag a program on to my desktop to make a shortcut like that :(

I can't tell you how to create an Office 2013 shortcut.
I can tell you how I made an Outlook desktop shortcut.........
Start > use the horizontal scroll bar and find Outlook 2013 > right click at it > click Open file location > right click at Outlook 2013 > click Create shortcut > click Yes.
As you can see, you can create shortcuts for other Office programs.

P.S. an alternative would be to pin them to the taskbar.
