    User Information Program

    Hi there,
At my school, we have a piece of software (called RM MyConnect) which displays user information such as Full Name, Primary Group, PC Name, PC Location, Connectivity to the server etc. It also lets users log off, change their password, and lock the PC (if GPO allows).

I would like this program at home, in my domain environment, however, there is no way of getting this without purchasing the RM CC4 Package from RM Plc. (www.rm.co.uk) - something that is exclusive to schools.

I was wondering if anyone could create anything like this for me, that will run on Windows 8.1 and 10?

There are some images of the program below.

I would be very grateful if anyone could help me with this.

FOR CLARIFICATION, THIS IS THE APPLICATION THAT SHOWS FOR THE CLIENT, NOT THE ADMIN.

    Kind Regards,
    Callum

I'm wondering if it is server-based? As in your school runs it from their server, even though a big part of it is on each school computer.

I believe it does run via the server, since that is how it recieves the user information.

I did also manage to get the files from the RD server, but if they are the correct ones, I do not know...

You might have gotten the files, however, I doubt you can copy the setup, the configuration "between" server and computers.

Do you have any coding knowledge, or ability to recreate this?

I just now saw this; no, I have no programming experience to speak of. In fact years ago, using dBASE III+, I failed to even make a check-balancing program, failed to understand the tutorial. I have learned to program both VHS/DVD combo and the cable box to the TV, that's my only claim to fame, all 15 minutes of it.

This appears to be commercial software licensed for use by your school. I doubt that you have a legal right to use this software.

I have not done anything illegal since I have not distributed or attempted to crack the program. I am simple asking if anyone has the ability to recreate something like this for me?

Corriganc, you're right as rain! You asked if somebody could create a program like that for you
I guess I was side-tracked by your earlier comment: "...I did also manage to get the files from the RD server, but if they are the correct ones, I do not know..."
I now realize all you were doing was looking at the files, searching for clues on how to make, how to create, something similar.
