Can't Install windows media player on my windows 8

Hi, I run windows 8.1 Pro N 64-bit and I tried everything, all the possible links to download the WMP and whenever I try to install the package it says the update is not applicable to your computer (Even though I made sure to pick the correct type of file for my pc, I even tried the 34-bit file but same result). Please help, as there are many games that requires the files of WMP to run and I can't do anything without them. So what should I do?

Have you tried this tutorial from EightForums

Media Feature Pack - Install for Windows 8 N and KN
The European N and KN editions of Windows 8 include the same functionality as Windows 8, except for media-related technologies (Windows Media Player, web camera), and certain preinstalled media apps (Camera, Music, and Video). In addition, the KN editions do not include certain preinstalled communication apps (Calendar, Mail, Messaging, and People).

The Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 8 will install Media Player and related technologies on a computer running Windows 8 N, Windows 8 Pro N, Windows 8 Enterprise N, or Windows 8 KN, Windows 8 Pro KN, Windows 8 Enterprise KN editions.
