I avoid Chrome like any other program that acts like a Virus!

I'm forever deleting it from my customer's PC's and they have no idea what it is, or where it came from, but they would just like it GONE!!!
Get "Firefox" and never have a problem downloading anything.

7Zip is definitely the program to use, and it's 100% FREE, from download to the grave. I've personally just installed it on a new setup of Windows 8.1 this very evening, and once installed, it works immediately. It's FAST, Efficient and totally FREE!

How can you beat that?

Cheers Mates!

You unzipped it from the folder first right?

It should start the installer by double clicking or right click and choosing open or run as administrator.

Then the installer should run to install the program.

If that isn't happening something has changed what happens for .exe files, you can change it back to default by downloading a reg file for the .exe file association from this tutorial.

You need to run the .exe which is a self-extracting zipfile. You will be asked where to extract the files to. Extract them to somewhere like your downloads folder. One the files are extracted, find the setup program and run it to install 7Zip.
