8.1 Apps not working

    I'm really sorry Cliff but I don't know what you mean by this.

    That's for the second part(under the separation line) you'll need to either use search(windows key and the letter "S") or go to all apps screen and type powershell and right click it and choose run as administrator.

    Also, what is a "search windows key? I am so confused I can't even think straight.

    I was able to find the Windows Powershell and ran it as administrator, (it has a green windows) what do I put in that window Cliff?

    I ran the Powershell as administrator and copied and pasted this text and ten rebooted but still no apps.

    I just read all through that "Repair Install Windows 8" and one of the things that it says is that all windows apps will remain. They will not be changesd so it doesn't look like even that would be an option, right?

    The problem isn't the apps themselves I believe, it's that you can't access them. The repair install only replaces the system files.

    One other thing I was wondering, have you tried creating another account, to see if you can use the apps then?

Solved Apps are not working. in General Support
Running Windows 8.1 and apps are not working. They were perfectly fine this morning, then later today, every one of them, except like two that I know of, IE and the Store. Other than that, music, Facebook, twitter, dropbox, etc. they're not working. I've refreshed my Windows 8, didn't fix it....

Solved All Apps Not Working in General Support
I just get a blank screen when I try to see "All Apps". Also, when I click on search and then apps, the cursor jumps out of the search box instantly when I type any letter, and then that screen is blank too. Anyone else experiencing this? How do I fix it? Thanks.
