I am running a machine with windows 8.1 64bit (I think). I tried installing office 2010 yesterday and got the 1935 error. I tried looking in my add/uninstall program folder for the .net framework that I had seen as the solution. It is not there. It is however in my registry. I have tried the cleanup tool, I have tried several other things. I even uninstalled office xp to try that. Nothing has worked. This morning I tried to reinstall XP and I got the 1303 error. I am at my wits end with this. I am an author and I REALLY need office to continue on my work. Please help. Oh in the add/ remove program window the only framework file is one called microsoft xna framework redistributable 4.0 does this have anything to do with my problem?
