I hope this is the right place to put this question. may sound like a silly question to you guys that grew up with computers.,
but i'm only asking, the only silly question is the one that is never ask.

now I have a 64 bit system here but when I went into the "all control panel items" I found I have something called

flash player-(32 bit)

now should I replace it with the 64 bit? if so, can I do so without the junk that comes with PC downloads? if so, where do I go? or should I just leave it alone. any advice you have would be great.

I'd leave it alone because Flash Player for Internet Explorer comes built into Windows now and is updated through Windows Update. I'm not sure why it shows as "(32-bit)" in the Control Panel either, I guess someone forgot to rename it, but I permanently run the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer Desktop and the Flash Plugin also runs in 64-bit mode as well.

The 32-bit flash player plug-in is for your 32-bit browser. Although your operating system is 64-bit, it can and do run 32-bit programs and apps. The plug-in installer/updater puts both into the system. I use exclusively a 64-bit browser. Yet I have the 32-bit plug-in in the control panel.
