I know from doing research that Windows cleanmgr and TiWorker run the CPU really hard. AND, it takes so darn long to complete.
(A) is there a way to do this without running the CPU so hard and speed it up?
(B) is there 3rd party software that will do the same as cleanmgr without running the CPU so hard?
(C) If I'm stuck using using cleanmgr, will it be run automatically or must I run it manually?
Finally, I read in one of Micro-softs forums a comment from a very angry poster, complaining about cleanmgr. He said that he built computers for years and that it is NOT good to run your CPU at 100% for very long, that it shortens the life of the CPU. Along with making the fan run at high speed. Any thoughts on that?
