Programs open minimized (most of the times)

HI.

I got this computer about a month ago, and I've noticed that almost every program I open start minimized. This is not a major issue but is rather annoying and I haven't been able to find anything useful online.

Any ideas on what might be going on? Specs are below. Let me know if you need any more information.

Are we talking about Metro/Start Screen mode, or Desktop mode? Is the unit up to date on all windows updates? What monitor are you using? As for the link, you really need to update your System Spec's from the hp.com website.

This happens in desktop mode (I never really use the metro start) and with desktop apps and metro apps as well. Everything is up to date in both Windows and HP and the monitor is a somewhat old lenovo 1440 x 900 (see specs below).

[DEL]What do you mean by update my system specs? I got that from the HP data sheet.[/DEL] EDIT: Nevermind, I see what you mean. Specs updated.
