Scan media/data archive for damage.

Well trying to use a cheap USB 3.0 device sent one of my hard drives into raw mode and had the other have lost files, so I need to scan a couple 3TB hard drives for damaged audio/video and archives mostly rar and zip.

Are there any programs that will do this, I do not care if they are pay for, I need something to give me an idea of what needs replacing.... uhg I do not want to get out the DVDs......

MiniTool Power Data Recovery, Restorer Ultimate Data Recovery, Piriform Recuva, are just a few of the many very good data recovery software. You are in for some work though, reconstructing file names as you discover the recoverable.

SO bascily scan for deleted files? They'd be the ones that been damaged and removed from normal view? Or is it more complicated than that to find files that were broken?
