OneDrive Pictures upload possible by user given Edit Link?

I think I may already know the answer to this, but if I send someone an Edit Link to a folder on my OneDrive, is it possible for them to upload files to that folder? If not, what does the Edit option do exactly?

I appears they must sign in to use the Upload option but I do not have anyone right now who is not on my network to test for me. I also used the Do not need a Microsoft Account option in the link.

Overall, does OneDrive seem to accommodate such type of usage? I know this has probably been covered, but the need has just arisen for me and I haven't seen a post addressing such a requirement.

    Thanks.
