I've used both Auslogics and Wise Registry Cleaners, cautiously, sparingly, and so far so good!

You never said if any of those entries are causing you any troubles. Starting with Win7, registry is used different way than before, no more reading from it continually but using only what's needed at the time. Cleaning, defragmenting and compacting is not really needed any more.
Using some good uninstall program like Revo will keep it much cleaner than normal windows uninstall.

Windows task optimization called boot defrag is actually a registry defragmentation, not HDD related.

    Wrong:
The Prefetch directory has one additional salutary function when used in conjunction with the built-in defragmenting tool. Every three days, during idle times, this utility rearranges program code, moving it to the outside of the disk to make it more efficient when loading (to force Windows to perform this optimization without having to do a full defragmentation, use the Defrag.exe command with the -b switch. For instance: defrag c: -b).
