My PC settings will NOT open. I have researched EVERY forum and nothing works. Last time I tried doing a restore, I got the BSOD and it took me two days to reinstall the WIN8 ISO file, in which I have to leave my USB in which I reinstalled it from in all the time or I get the blue screen error again. I believe this has something to do with my PC Settings, as it opened once and said 'configure your new windows' and I clicked on next and nothing happened because I don't have PC Settings. For one, all of my files in C drive are completely messed up. For instance, in my win32 folder, there are so many things that have been added (from my husband I suspect), all these remote access exe files, audio transfer...etc. And when I click on permissions, share, it says 'everyone, special'. I can come back, copy and post these. I know this is a lot of different issues in one post, but if someone could tell me exactly how the C:/ file directory should look? What files should and should not be there? I'm talking about from a computer straight out of the box, without any extra's installed. The other issue is my Microsoft Office 13 stopped working, says a previous attempt to fix the issue didn't work and something about a license. One more thing, what should a nice, clean registry look like, no installs other than what come with the computer. I have like six extra users with strings such as S-1-5....all with different numbers. All I have remotely is a printer. One printer. I'm new to the forums so if I need to separate these issues into different forums please tell me!! Thanks!
