I am using a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and am having difficulty with building molecules. I have downloaded putty, xming and am using GaussView. My dilemma is that the atoms don't display as I build the molecule. On occassion when they do display, the image is very distorted. I have enabled x11 as required. Any other suggestions?

Welcome to the forum!

Only thing that comes to mind is the resolution of the Surface Pro vs what GaussView needs to display the image correctly. Are there settings to adjust resolution?
