Trouble installing Office

I'll preface by saying that I'm a newbie, so I apologize if I'm asking something obvious.

I'm trying to put an old version of Office on my laptop, and I'm getting a message saying I can't install without the newest version of Windows Installer. Where do I go to download this online?
