    Is the calendar app private?

This is probably a very dumb question, but i just want to make sure.
Are the things you write in the calendar app that comes with windows 8 private?
I use it for my everyday journal and i write things that i want to keep private.
But every time i save changes for a day, it says it's syncing.. Why? Syncing to what?
Maybe i'm just being paranoid. I would die if i found out what i'm writing isn't private though..

As long as nobody has your Live.com password(Microsoft account), it's secure. It syncs with https://bay04.calendar.live.com/calendar/calendar.aspx, which is the online version of calander so you can access it from any PC.
Thirdly Dumb is who doesn't ask when they're unsure, then makes a mistake.

When you are typing in your notes for a day, on the right side of the screen there is a link labeled "Show More". Click on that to expose more options, one of which is a checkbox to mark that item as "Private".

The only way someone else could see your calendar would be if they added your MS Account to their calendar (you might do that with colleagues in order to share calendar events). Marking a calendar item Private would ensure no one could see that item but they could still see non-private items like meetings.

Hello! For anyone who syncs the Metro Calendar app with Google Calendar, does it show more than just your primary calendar? Mine only shows my primary and it's a little sparse because of it. :( Thanks in advance, ~Ibrahim~
I have several calendars under one Google Calendar account (usually by school subject and other important matters) but Metro Calendar app only syncs one default calendar, which I only use it to note Holidays. Is there a way to sync all Google Calendars using Metro Calender app? Thank you!!
Hi, I can't get the popup reminders for the calendars to work. Neither in the Metro calendar nor in Outlook. I also can't make them synchronize. Does anyone know? Do sound alerts exist at all in Windows calendars or just pop ups if any?
