Hi everyone
For the last two or three months I have periodically had screen popups and emails from MyPC Backup asking me to upgrade. In the latest email it says this: My records show your files are NOT being backed up as your MyPC Backup license has now expired. Soon we will contact you about the deletion of your files, unless you upgrade. (Subject title of email: Your files are being deleted...) Is this threat worth worrying about? I have unsubscribed to their emails twice but they keep coming.
I originally discovered MyPC Backup when researching online storage services. I eventually settled on another one and I never actually signed up with MyPC Backup or gave them any money. I don't recall the circumstances in which I gave them my email address. Having researched what to do about this I am still at a loss because the program doesn't actually appear in my Programs list so I don't have the option to uninstall. I cannot locate any files related to MyPC Backup anywhere on my computer, even after showing hidden files and programs. I have Windows 8.1. Thanks for your time.
