Hi all
I recently bought a surface pro 3 and ran all the updates even the Windows 8.1 Update (KB 2919355).

However when i am in applications such as store, i dont have the little x in the top right corner to exit?

Any ideas.

Thanks

Yep, I understood. Just to make sure you know, that closing a modern app with the X will only suspends the app. It doesn't actually fully closes it.

You mean Option 3 instead correct?

If so, did you do step 2 or 3 to be able to see it?

Ok yes it will be to suspend the application.

I have followed Option 3, for the touch. It says

Move the pointer to the top edge of the app to have the app's title bar slide open, and click/tap on the X at the top right corner. (see screenshot below)
I dont have the title bar appear to click on the x

When i press the alt and space key the menu bar appears. and then i can suspend the app. With it been on a surface pro 3 without having a keyboard connected, when for example i am in the STORE, i have to go to the search bar, to pop the keyboard up to press ALT+Enter to then press the x button.

Thanks.

Will the title bar open if you touch the area where it should be, or slide down from the top edge?
