    My PC settings does not work


    My PC settings does not work, step 7 from here PC settings - Fix and Restore in Windows 8.1 does not work also. I wanted to use the Default Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter but requires logged on microsoft account. to log in you need to get into the PC settings, I got stuck

    Step 7 in the link needs an "elevated" command prompt. Are you opening such a command prompt? If it's not "elevated", it's not going to work.

    In that case, go through the steps in the tutorial below. Do note that you can open PC settings while signed in to either a local or Microsoft account.
